Coronavirus (Covid-19) information

Update 2020-03-19

Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus and the intensified controls at the borders, there is a smaller amount of trucks in Sweden at the moment. It’s hard for us to say how this is going to be in the upcoming weeks, but at the moment the lack of trucks/shipping alternatives might lead to slightly longer delivery times.

We will keep updating our website with the latest news regarding possible impacts of the transportation or the production. At the moment, both of our factories are manufacturing 24/7. The conditions might change rapidly but we are monitoring this going forward.

To our customers, suppliers and business partners.

We at Modulpac are closely monitoring the development regarding the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Based on our continuity planning, we have begun executing a COVID-19 preparedness plan. The goal of our plan is the safety of our employees, suppliers and customers.

To date, we have taken the following preventive measures:

• restrict all business trips, especially to areas with COVID-19 outbreaks,
• also, limit private trips abroad as much as possible,
• use video conferencing instead of personal meetings,
• limit attendance at trade fairs, conferences and seminars to business-critical events,
• ensure that our suppliers and vendors are careful with preventive measures,
• minimize visits to business-critical visits to our two units only,
• keep our employees informed about COVID-19 developments as well as precautionary and preventive measures.

In summary, we remain very vigilant in this crisis. At present, neither our production nor our deliveries have been affected. We will continue to do everything we can to protect our employees and continue to help our customers.
